Ready to capture your unique femininity? Here’s how to commission a museum-quality artwork to display.
Firstly, choose your Breast Cast finish (gold-look gilt, copper gilt or neoclassical stone colour) and your display option (wall hanging, shelf stand or none). Once you have completed your order, it’s time to start the process by arranging an appointment to have your silicone mould made. We will contact you by email to agree a mutually convenient time. Your appointment can take place at either the Tallulah Love office in County Durham (TS27 4SU) from 3-6 November or thereafter at Pen’s studio in central London. Once this is done, your involvement is complete.
You’ll take away a small sample of your chosen finish from the moulding appointment so you can start planning how to display your beautiful Breast Cast. Approximately three weeks later, your Breast Cast will arrive, ready to be displayed as specified at the time of ordering.
How the process works
Step 1: Capturing your uniqueness
Pen applies a soft, body-safe silicone to your skin. You’ll need to keep very still until the material sets so the cast captures every detail. The next step is to apply layers of plaster bandage to the silicone to preserve the shape of the mould.
The process might tickle but the silicone mould comes off the skin very easily. And a warm cloth easily removes any small traces.
Making the silicone mould takes about 40 minutes. Your part is done now.
Step 2: Casting your personal artwork
Using the impression, Pen makes a cast of jesmonite (‘eco-resin’) reinforced with fibreglass. This has the same classic look as plaster but is much stronger and lighter.

Step 3: Applying the finish
Once the cast is ready, Pen applies whichever finish you have chosen: gold-look gilt or copper gilt. In the case of Neoclassical stone colour, she infuses the plaster-resin with pigment during the making process. Gilt finishes require more time.
Step 4: Preparing the artwork for display
The final finishing touches are done to your artwork. This includes attaching your chosen display materials; fittings to hang the cast or display it on a shelf.

Step 5: Shipping your sculpture
Your custom breast cast is carefully packed and shipped to arrive safely at your door. You can choose to have the silicone moulding too or we can destroy it for you.
